You’ll travel through Koonwarra, a charming village known for its cafés and relaxed country feel, before continuing toward Leongatha, where the landscape opens into classic South Gippsland vistas — grazing cattle, hay sheds, dams and wide, sweeping hills.
From Leongatha, the trail continues through Ruby, a quiet rural community surrounded by lush farmland and undulating terrain. This stretch offers long, open views and a real sense of the region’s natural beauty.
The final approach into Korumburra brings more rolling hills and open country before you arrive in this welcoming town, home to great cafés, bakeries and local shops — the perfect place for lunch or a well‑earned coffee before your return ride.
