How do we collect your information?
We collect your personal information from you directly when you visit our website, hire bicycles with us, make enquiries about our products and services, and/or otherwise communicate with us (online, via email or by phone). We may also collect your personal information from third parties, such as if a family member or friend hires a bike on your behalf.
What types of personal information do we collect?
The type of personal information we collect includes personal details such as your name, date of birth, email address, physical address and telephone number, as well as financial information such as your credit card details (which we keep for the period of hire and finalization of the hire).
Why do we collect your information and how do we use it?
We collect your personal information to allow us to supply you with bicycle and e-bike hiring services and related products. To do this, we may provide such information to our advisors, service providers and insurers. We do not send your personal information to any overseas recipients, however our cloud provider may from time to time host information overseas.
If credit card details are provided, they will be securely stored, and deleted or destroyed once you have paid in full for the hiring services, you have returned the hired bike/s and equipment, and your booking (including the payment of any repair costs, late fees or other amounts owing to GSR) is in all respects complete.
What happens if we can’t collect your information?
If you do not provide certain information we require for the hire, we may refuse the hire or any part of it.
